To have a working webserver you DON'T need frontpage extensions.

Now, are you planing to build your website with MS Frontpage editor? Or are you importing a current website that was built with MS Frontpage?

Ok, so i did some reading about the FP extensions and you DON'T need them at all even if your website was made with MS FrontPage.

You only need such extension installed in your apache server IF you are going to keep developing your website using MS FrontPage.

Now, if you install you webserver IN you home PC, you can not use both at the same time !!! (unless ofcurse you have a seond PC at home, then one run the server while you develop and update from the second PC).

Besides... MS FrontPAge produce such a nasty ugly HTML code ! But thats just my opinion and non of my busunes, use what pleases you.

It isn't just your opinion, it is complete fact. Frontpage produces nasty ugly code.

Apparently Einstein said much the same thing and he was pretty bright you know. He put aside his work on quantum theory and relativity to study how this was possible, but it is sad to say he died without ever really solving just how it is that Frontpage could produce such bug ugly html.
