I have a puzzling problem with characters.

Hi, I am unable to type any of the characters above the numbers on my keyboard. It will only type the numbers. My'Num lock' is not on, and now I see it involves all secondary characters on the key board. . . . What is going on/ How can I fix this/ See what I mean/ I can however, still make caps. Help1111

I also have a similar puzzling problem. Since i installed linux some of my keys have switched positions.

For example the key above 2 (usually ") has swapped places with the key above ' (usually @).

The strange thing is that this has also affected my keyboard when using windows. It's annoying having to try to remember which keys have swtiched positions.

Has your full stop key moved position? You may find it in a different place.

Sorry i cant be more help
