Unhappy I get the message that I need ASF remuxer. I don't know how to find and install this.

What is a ASF remuxer and what does it do?

ASF is a Microsoft thing.

An ASF remuxer would be any remuxer that handles ASF format. This link might help: http://linuxmafia.com/faq/VALinux-kb/asf-support.html
