I cant "unmount" my Live CD

I recently installed fedora 8 and when I got it booted from the cd I created I tried to remove the disc from the drive but it wouldn't let me. I asked someone and they said I had to install fedora to the hard drive using the icon on the desktop but when I tried it had an error with sda1 and I repeatedly tried to no avail. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

When you boot off the live cd you can't unmount it because it is being used by your computer. If you want to run Fedora from your HD you need to install it. Here is the link to the installer guide, select your preferred language and follow the directions:

If you are having trouble with installation please post follow up problems or if i have misunderstood your problem please let me know.
