i cant seem to watch movies due to an xvid issue

ive tried multiple websites and just cant seem to be able to watch this movie the exodus keeps telling me to install xvid something or pretty sure i have it but i keep getting error messages help maybe?

Could you tell us what distro you are using and give us the exact errors you are getting? That would really help us
