i can not uninstall wine

i installed wine using yum but i can not uninstall it following

Code:
yum erase wine

Shouldn't that be yum remove wine?.
As i don't use Fedora myself,the following links shows yum commands:

i run this command succesfully yum erase wine but it still in applicaiton menu (centos 5.3)
