I can login to squirrel mail with all other user except root user
 
I have configured squirrelmail on RHEL7, I can login to squirrel mail with all other user except root user. when i try to login with root user, it showing " ERROR: Connection dropped by IMAP server "
what is the reason...?
how can i login with root user..?

i am new one here....
please help me....

By default root is forbidden to access mail through pop3/imap for security reasons. Root can login in the system and use a CLI utility to read his mail.

If you still want to allow access to webmail for root, you need to read your imap server documentation, to see if it can be done.
AFAIK dovecot for example does not allow root login
