Angry i can't install tarballs /w mandrake

I just started using Mandrake 7.2 and I've had a few problems. I am having a problem with the default Mandrake package manager when I try to install Tarballs, it refuses with an error message. Also, when I install any RPM I get a message stating that either the RPM's signature is bad or GNUpc isn't installed correctly. Can somebody help me? Also, what's with the super slow graphics of Linux. It runs all GL programs super slowly, even with the proper libraries installed. I use SiS 530 onboard graphics, (Pathetic, I know, but also cheap) which works fine with Unreal Tournament, Microsoft Flight Sim, and other 3d games in windows. Help me, I must have my 3d games.

it's probably a problem with the /etc/XF86Config file. if you have X3.3.6, then you need to use the XF86_SVGA server with the sis driver.

if you use 4.x, then you probably need to add a few lines in the config file -

Section "Modules"
Load "glx"

Section "Primary-Card"
Driver "sis"
