I can't get my ubuntu 11.04 to print on canon pixma ip2772, it says that I got canon ip2700 series installed, and show that I am printing a test page, but nothing happens on the printer. Can anyone help me please?

Tried to print via the CUPS web page? Enter this;

This should open the CUPS page on your PC, find your printer, find out what the printer reports back...

Obviously, you did hook the thing up right did'nt ya? :D

Here's the Open Printing Database page on the ip2700.

There is no separate listing for the ip 2772. That doesn't mean anything, since it's a volunteer site.

Thanks for the insight guys, you guys are great! this got me pointed to the right direction. Apparently, there seems to be a problem with the driver, so I used the driver I got from canon-asia as posted by hilyard last 11-03-10 about same problem but with canon pixma ip2700 and ubuntu 10.10.
