WOW, well you were persistent, and got your Fedora loaded, and can boot to it, NEATO ! Now ,,sounds like you wrote over your master boot record on the 1st drive. A whole nother bag to fix. I did the same thing with Fedora to Ubunto , I call it my Frankenstein hard drive. 3-4 distros on there. * I have a "removable can" in the front of my machine. I keep my windows(98) disk seperate from my other 2 Linux disks. They are all"jumpered master", and my bootlist in bios is ->dskt-CD-disk so i can boot a bootloader dskt or install from a CD or boot from a hard drive. The Fedora i thought was pretty fast for a Gnome Distro, and it uses GRUB as a bootloader. The bootloader is a real fannykicker by the way, clear as mud- it doesnt seem to do the same with all distros and i don't know why. Why dont you try to jumper your Fedora as master and see it you get same result? Then try to get help with your MBR on your windows drive. Also, you can get distros from a place like"budgetlinux CDs" and try a whole pile of them inexpensively at the same time and eliminate a couple of loooong steps. Have fun ! mike
