I Can't Dual Boot Into Windows XP
I've just installed Fedora Core 2 on my laptop. This is the break down of how my drive is partitioned:
WinXP - I have this as NTFS and is my XP system partition Doc - I have this partition available for files and such, FAT32 UNALLOCATED - I left 7 GB of unallocated space for my Fedora Core 2 installation When I installed Fedora Core 2 It gave me an error saying something to the likes of "my partition tables aren't aligned, and MAY cause a problem with some boot loaders, but is unlikely"? then gave me the option of ignoring it, so i did other then that the installation went fine, i installed linux in the unallocated space without a swap file. Now when I boot my computer and choose XP it just displays this and stops: rootnoverify (hd0,0) chainloader +1 I can boot into Linux fine, and a friend of mine edited fstab so I can see my NTFS and FAT32 partitions. Any suggestions?? does the error mentioned above have anything to do with it? Be gentle, I'm a real newbie -Thanks |

I've just tried that, and entered the command exactly as shown with the --force option, shutdown and rebooted, but still the same error, any otherthoughts?
