I just got a book on Linux with "Move" on it but my stupid computer won't boot it. The book tells me to change the BIOS but I dont know how. Help!

While the PC is booting up, there is a key you can press to get into BIOS. Typically it's something like F12 or F2 or the Delete key. Once you are in BIOS, you will need to find the booting options, and in there you will want to make your CD drive the first device the machine tries to boot from.

Try in the future to search a bit more LQ to see if your question was
not asked before. Also try to be patient. You do not need to
post to your own thread to attract attention.

In there I posted a link to the poll with most of the bios start key

Good luck with move.
