Question I am new. Did my thread get posted?

Hi. I am brand new here. I don't want to post the same question twice, as I believe that is against the rules? I think I posted a question about my second monitor in hardware. It said something about it wont appear until it's approved. I wonder if I did it right because when I click "my posts" or "my threads" under "my LQ" the page is empty. So does it have to be approved before I see it there or am I not seeing it because I didn't post it properly?

Hi...

Welcome to the forum

You probably didn't do anything wrong. Most, if not all, initial threads by new members have to be approved by a moderator first. Depending on their schedule, that can take a little while. Most likely you'll see it within a day or two.

Regards...

I am brand new at linux. I did figure out to type lspci into a terminal from reading the beginner post. when I type lspci and hit enter I get the following...

pawn57@debian:~$ /sbin/lspci
bash: /sbin/lspci: No such file or directory

Ok. Thanks. I see these posts now and apparently can respond, yet I still don't see my other question about my second display. Should I mark this solved and and wait for the other to show up or try asking it here?
