I am having trouble Playing Audio CDs

I am relatively new to linux, and not long ago I have installed Fedora 5. I have the whole drive-mounting thing down. However, when I go to play an audio CD, it doesn't play. It is almost as if there is some sort of codec or driver I am missing for audio CDs.

If anyone has any insight on this it would be greatly appreciated.
I am using kernel 2.6.18-1.2257.fc5

Audio CD's won't mount since they don't have a file-system on them. Insert the audio cd in the drive and use a regular audio cd player included with Fedora Core to play the disc.
