Oh sorry, i thought i posted that i was going to Queensland and i placed a link to the general section about it...hmmmm...strange...anyway i just came home today...and i'm real tired...so i'll tackle the problem tomorrow after school...thanks!!

hmmm guess you should ...ok just to fill you in, as i said before i am using scandisk to fix up my directory structure etc. it is nearly done, i'd say 45% some fuiles are now accessible with their correct filenames, but some, like the directories are just labelled Dir0001 Dir0002 and so on.....i still have to continue it but it does take a long time...i'll post up when i'm nearly through it....

Sounds like it's just time rather than work now

Glad you got things back to normal, and when you are all finished, a summary of the thing that happened, and the resolution that finally worked would be great.
