Ok guys I'm totally new to Linux and Slack obviously...I've spent a month reading manuals and guide and 3 days this forums. Why I'm telling u cuz of the flames
Here's my prob:
I 1st installed full Slack with no probs at all then i used swaret to upgrade my System and it all screwed up. So It's now the 6th time I delete partitions reinstall the system and all the time either the mouse or the keyboard is not working after the boot.
As for the mouse I have an usb logitech optical mouse and I've red all the threads about it. And the 1st time I made it to work included the wheel
(ZAxisMapping & IMPS/2 & Buttons as options).
The second time there was noway to make it working.
I chechek dmesg and my mouse was detected but still when I started KDE it didnt move at all. I tried all protocols and still nutting.
I typed: ls -l /dev/mouse ---> ps/aux
dunno if its correct to be at /ps/aux.
Then cat /ps/aux, moved my mouse and the red light appeared but no writings or strange charachters. I found that in the forums but dunno what is it the purpose.
Discouraged I decided to do a full reinstall again and now my ps/2 Keyboard isnt working at all. So I'm using windows to post here.
2 details may give u sum hints. I have hotplug enabled and Linux on /dev/hdb2. Didn't have enough space on my primary HD where Windows is.
I really hope some1 can help me, meanwhile I'll try for the n-time to reinstall Slack again
