i'm new and i want use linux !

welcome all ..

i have a Toshiba Satellite A10 Series laptop .

i want to install linux , but i want ask about hardware .

i don't found my laptop here :

can you help me to use linux with my computer hardware .

the easiest thing to do is to get a Knoppix 3.4. Boot it up with your notebook. If Knoppix works, most probably other llinux distroes also will work.

no2002; u did not look at the HCL at
u r Toshiba laptop is listed, all the way at bottom of table of contents. and please enter any data info u may have that would be of help with any body else thank you.

Mandrake 10, RH9, Slackware 9.1, Knoppix 3.3 and SuSE 9.0 all have worked on that brand of laptop - I should know, I have that brand.
