i'm having difficulty using riocp to load an mp3 file onto my karma.

i've been told to:
Put an mp3 file in your home directory and then from the
> terminal/console run:
> riocp ~/name_of_mp3_file.mp3

but i don't know how to put the mp3 in my home directory and i cannot get to the terminal/console prompt. i see one or the other but whenever i click on them i get to a desktop $ prompt.

sure would appreciate someone walking me thru this.

The $ is the terminal/console prompt. What desktop are you using, KDE or Gnome? Find the file manager to move the mp3 files.

More details on your system and desktop.

You can always use the little java app that is on the karma, just go to it's ip with a browser to get the app. It works best with java5.
