freshmeat.net
sourceforge.net

Set goals for yourself to learn the system, do you want to setup a webserver, mail server, things like that? What is it you want to do with your system. When in doubt google it.

As for games...well, you're going to be limited, any other kind of app though, you've got a whole internet full of them.

im resisting

I want Windows! It's like a nice pack of expensive Marlboro Cigarettes after SEX! But I really want to use Linux. I like the geek effect and the fact that if someone wont fix it some other distro will. But I'm VERY happy with Blag distro. But yeah I just hate being limited. I basically want to IM and game a little (not alot) but a little... If I could sucessfully get limewire find a freaking unreal tournament iso for linux I would be a happy penguin! Thanks for the links though I havent been the the second one...

Besides all that, boredom is a lack of character....

And if you're bored with Linux, use windows :P

Cheers,

If you mean UT2003, then it supports Linux out of the box and the original UT just needs the binaries available here.
