I'm a total NooB to linux
Hello,
I'm trying to setup Ubuntu 9.10 Netbook remix on my netbook (aa1 Model AOA 150) and am having a few issues.
First I can't connect wirelessly. I think that the wireless is disabled, as I can see the Wireless routers via other computers. I've seen a few workarounds, but am having some issues changing the blacklist.conf
Second, I am a bit of an audiophile, and would like to be able to mod my MP3 player. Ubuntu doesn't seem to recognize it. Any suggestions?
Any help at all would be helpful. Thank you.

Well we need some additional details, what kind of wireless card (or laptop at minimum), what kind of mp3 player, etc. Any additional information you can provide will help.

Laptop is an Acer Aspire One, Model AOA 150. Uncertain what the Wireless card is. MP3 is a Sansa clip, 2gb.

Keardan, can you post here what exactly is the Error Message when you attempted playing an mp3? Which player did you try? I had no problem playing mp3 with either Ubuntu or Mint (which is also an Ubuntu flavor.)

I had no error message, it just didn't seem to notice it in any of the three USB ports.
Using Rhythmbox that comes pre-installed with Ubuntu.
