hubernate/suspend to ram problem

hello all

I have a asus k52j nitebook, and I have problem with hibernate (suspent to disk) and suspend to ram.

when I close lid or click on hibernate computer display black out and and
evey things stop working.

and I have to power it of by power key.

I tried debian, ubuntu, centos and fedora.
I installed hibernate package.

I don't know what is the problem!

thanks for reply

pm-utils are installed already.
pm-hibernate and pm-suspend cause laptop stop working and display blackout again.
pm-is-supported --hibernate or suspend returns nothing.

what is next step?!
