huawei wll connection
 
i am using ubuntu..i am unable to establish an internet connection as i cant run the .exe file of huawei..thats the only way to establish in windows..
i have a bsnl wll connection..
please suggest
can some application run windows supporting .exe files in ubuntu?

After many research and taking your post as personal challenge I think I was able to decipher your post.

Do you mean that you are using Ubuntu and you have the huawei windows drivers only?

Do you mean that you want to run the wuawei CD to install the windows drivers?

If so. Ubuntu doesn't accept windows drivers.

i am using BSNL's WLL Huawei ETS 1201 modem
on connecting the usb port an additional hardware is shown.one is used to run the .exe file associated with that (in widows)to enter the given user name and password to connect to the host computer.
as no executable files are supported,what should i do to connect my computer to the internet?
