Question Huawei E220 on OpenSUSE 11


Hi all,
I have just installed OpenSUSE 11 onto my laptop and need to setup my 3G card. I have searched the net and have only found setup steps for OpenSUSE 10.X. Please could I get help with this. I do not want to install windows just to be able to use my 3G card. PLEASE HELP.

Welcome to LQ!

Try following the instructions for OpenSUSE 10.X, they'll probably work just fine for OpenSUSE 11, or indeed just about any other modern linux distro.

If you get stuck come back here with concise information:

Eg: "The howto (link is here: ....) said do this : .......... I tried that, but got these error messages: ........ "
