Exclamation httpd server problems

Hi all,

My problem is related with the httpd server on a RH 9 installation.

I belong to a subdomain, med.upatras.gr, and my serverís name is my_server.med.upatras.gr.
I recently set up the httpd server but I cannot see it from outside typing the host-name.domain_name in the IE address bar. If I put the IP instead itís loading my index.html.

Another problem is that I cannot receive emails also, but I can send.

Can anyone help me giving me some detailed explanation. Itís related with the DNS, do I have to register my host to my domainís nameserver?

Thanks,
Mike

Yes, you must register name y_server.med.upatras.gr. in DNS and
MX record for mail too.
