http corruption?
On an old linux tutorial, I read that downloading linux .iso files from http corrupts them (something about binary and ascii), and you should only use ftp mirrors to dl linux images. Any truth to this?
If so, any way to "un-corrupt" them? |
I doubt its a valid issue nowadays. I've been downloading isos from http mirrors for a while and encountered no issues.

Thanks, I'm halfway through some heavy http downloads, and I knew I could count on you guys for a fast response =)
