Hrlp Me


Hellp friends ,

I configure the squid.
When I request to pass the server for gmail, yahoo, and orkut That time messange generate for proxy file successfully.


But no error in log file when i request to pass the server for any site like google,rediffmail or etc. That time this type of error is generate.


The requested URL could not be retrieved

While trying to retrieve the URL: http://www.google.com/

The following error was encountered:

Unable to determine IP address from host name for www.google.com

The dnsserver returned:

Timeout

This means that:

The cache was not able to resolve the hostname presented in the URL.
Check if the address is correct.

Your cache administrator is venishkhant@yahoo.co.in.
Generated Sat, 05 Apr 2008 11:28:59 GMT by debian (squid/2.6.STABLE5)

It means the DNS servers that squid is using are not working

Hi,
