hplip - Exception: 96 (Unable to contact service)

Hi, I installed hplip last night as per directions from The printer seems to be printing okay but when i try to use the GUI device manager (hp-toolbox) absolutely nothing happens. I ran the debug command that the above site says to run for finding problems and below is the output. Has anyone any idea what the problem could be. I checked to see if the hplip service is running and it is.

Please help. All i want to do is save ink!

$ hp-toolbox -ldebug

SELinux might be blocking it because it doesn't have the right context; try turning off enforcing in SELinux to see if that helps.
