HP scanjet 3300c not recognize on ubuntu 8.04.1
 
Hello people , am using a DELL inspiron 1525 , I know i have to download SANE , so far, no luck i tried,synaptic manager, and terminal. but nothing when I open kooka, says your system does not provide a SANE installation wich is provided by KDE scan support,please install and configure SANE correctly on your system, thanks a bunch

You need to install xsane and hplip.
I dont know about Ubuntu but it must be something like apt-get install xsane hplip.

when serch for with TERMINAL,this was the response.....E: Couldn't find package hplip.

How about using Synaptic or Adept to search for hplip?

Google: "hplip on Ubuntu"
