I have a hp pavilion zv5000 that will go to the boot sreen but after you exit it will go to a black screen.If any solutions please comment thank you!!!!!

Few thing people will need to know before they can offer some help will be What distro are you trying to run in your Hp and how are you trying to install it.
Also if you had already tried something looking for a fix? Have you already tried another distro with similar results?
What video card do you have?
