Welcome to LinuxQuestions

Since NT_STATUS_REQUEST_NOT_ACCEPTED is a windows error we will need some additional information about your office network.
Are you trying to connect to the printer via a windows PC?

Hi Michael,

Yes, the said printer is connected to a Window based computer. Should i just make the printer a network printer to make it work?

But I'm using an ubuntu based computer.. before i implement ubuntu, would just want to make sure that i have all the correct drivers for all our printers. this is the only printer that i cannot connect to from my ubuntu pc..

Yes, the HP Laserjet P1606DN is supported by linux. You can get the necessary information here.
As you can see,

This printer is supported by the foo2zjs free software printer driver.

Are the other printers also connected to the same windows computer?
