Hi my laptop hp2000 . I want to download linux . DOWNLOAD LINUX FOR HP2000 LAPTOP

Ok, so what is the problem? You can find any distro at their respective websites, each with a download button.

Unless, of course, you forgot to put the link in the post?

1) Go to www.distrowatch.com and read about the most popular Linux distributions. I'd recommend Mint for a first-timer but you might like one of the others.
2) Follow the link to that distro's website and download an installation disc.
3) Put it on a usb memory stick.
4) Boot from that stick and try it out. If you like it, press the install button.

A quick check shows that the HP 2000 can mean anything from an Intel Pentium to an Intel i7, an AMD E series to an AMD Radeon, depending on age! The good news is that none of that hardware will any problem with Linux.

I too would suggest you try Linux Mint. You can find the installation guide here. If you follow their instructions you can't go wrong. Of the 3 versions available, the Mate one is probably best for an ex-Windows user. When you have your live USB stick, you can boot up from it and make sure that you like it before you install.
