HowToRepairPartitionTable???

I'm running Suse7.2 and winME but somehow my winME partition table is SCREWED so I can't access my data (separate partition).
I've tried rewriting the MBR but that didn't help, still can't access my data partition.
the partitions show up fine in Suse Control Centerand I can access everything from there but how do I repair the partition table (if possible) so I can keep winME? (it's a necessary evil, for me :P) I'd hate to reinstall everything again!

You may have tried this but . . .
Make a boot disk in Linux and then boot up your machine with a Windows/DOS floppy with fdisk on it.
At the DOS prompt type: fdisk /mbr
Reboot after removing the disk and see how far you get. But you should have lost LILO, so you'll have to start Linux from now on with the boot disk you made. WinME should load up by default.
