Howto mount Firewire Harddrive

I have attached a firewire PCI card, and attached a harddrive.

When my computer boots I get the following error:

ieee1394: Error parsing configrom for node 0-00:1023
ieee1394: Node changed: 0-00:1023 -> 0-01:1023

How do I mount my firewire harddrive ??

(/proc/scsi/scsi detect no attached drives)
