Question HowTo Makefile

Hi there,
I'm trying to figure out how to write a Makefile from scratch, and to understand all the terminology.
Anyone has good sites, that can pin point me as to how to understand Makefile language.
All suggestion are welcome,
Thanks,
Inbal
