howto know how much RAM does my system sees
 
how can i on fedora C2 see how much memory does my system sees for it's normal operation in a text mode interface (a shell? - ain't that what it's called?)

Searching would have given you this - the same question was asked about 24 hours ago.

The answer was - open a console and type in free also check "man free" for switches.
