HOWTO Guides - A Quick Question
Many of the necessary Linux HOWTOs came as part of the Mandrake distro documentation. I've noticed, however, that they are all available online, so I can only access them via webpage. I've done some searches and found the same thing. Short of printing the pages through the browser, is there any way to download the pages and save them so that I can print only the pieces I need while I'm working?
Since I'll be taking the machine down in an attempt to get XP back up before reinstalling Linux, I'd like to have the docs - or at least the pertinent parts of them - in hand while doing it. Thanks! |
Visit the below link, scroll down, and you'll see a link to download all the HOWTOS in one file:

Index HOWTO!!!!
Thank you DoubleLetter for posting that website address! I've been going through the various HOWTOs included in the package and came across the motherlode:
The "LDP - HOWTO INDEX" Not only does it list a majority of the HOWTOs currently available (perhaps even all, but I haven't had a chance to compare), it also *categorizes* them into pertinent topics so that you can easily scan down the topics, then scan down the list of HOWTOs and figure out which one you really need to be looking at! Mana from heaven! I'll say it again - everyone on here has been fantastic! Thanks!! |
