howto connect iSCSI and SAN disks to RHEL5

I learn RHEL5 and need to know how to connect disks from iSCSI array and from SAN network.
I found that it is possible to establish iSCSI on solaris by using COMSTAR
Could you give me some tutorial how to do this ?
I don't have of course SAN network in my home lab and iSCSI array too, is there some way I can simulate this on VBOX or VMWARE ?

thx for help.
