How would you do this...?

I have a program installed by myself ( a user) and I want the program to only be executable by root.
What i want to happen is the when a user tries to open the program, the box comes up to enter the root password.
How would one do this?

Cheers
Ludwig

At command like, type kdesu konqueror. Enter the root password.

Find you file that you want to modify. Right click on the file and hit properties. Set your permission to root as owner and group with execute for owner.

In konqueror, click edit, create new, link to application.

Link it to wherever that file is locate. At the beginning of the executeable path put in kdesu '/usr/blah/blah/barf'.

Kdesu will prompt for a root password to execute. Put the shortcut wherever you want for all users to access it.
