How to view those .directories

Hi!

I want to view the home/thort/.wine directory on my computer.

The .wine directory doesn't turn up in Nautilus.

Is it hidden? Do I have to log in as root? How can I make it visible?

from a terminal you can do ls -a

from nautilus there's an option in view to show hidden filesi think, or right click in the window.

Hi thort,

Open a Nautilus window, navigate to /home/thort and select 'View' from the menu. Half way down you'll see and select 'Show Hidden Files'.

Hope that does it for you

I found the option in Nautilus. Now I can view the hidden files.
