how to view html source of web pages

have mandrake10.1, changed to kde from the gnome ,now using konqueror for the interner. with gknome (mozzilla and opera)I could view the source code of my web page,I could , copy, paste, work on it in an editor, and so forth. but with konqueror I cant go to "view, source" and see the code.

view--->view mode--->embedded advanced text editor

..why are you still using konqueror in gnome? You know you're loading about half of QT and KDE when you load konqueror, right?

I think he meant he switched from Gnome to KDE. My Konqueror also has an option to use VIM if you prefer it.

whoops.. completely misread the first part! Chalk it up to ...err... not reading clearly.. oh.. I mean being tired.

View -> View document source works for me. maybe something needs to be configured in the settings to choose a text editor. Location -> gives some options, too, like open in Quanta, open in Bluefish, etc.
