How to use the kvm of linux kernel
 

when i execute the kvm using following command..
the screen goes black with a unblinking cursor on the top most left.

I HAVE FACED THIS PROBLEM BEFORE WHEN I EXECUTE ANOTHER SDL APPLICATIONS DUE TO ITS RESOLUTION INCOMPATIBILITY..

SO HOW TO CHANGE THE RESOLUTION OF THE KVM APPLICATION.THANK YOU IN ADVANCE.

I answered this question in another decision earlier, when individual was running qemu..... Which is another Emulator....

Graphic Intense programs seem to cause overload in cpu usage.... Problem is rendering two desktops at the same time and causes a graphical problem... Which data has to follow from the gpu back to cpu to be processed causing cpu overload....

Since this is a non commercial product like VmWare it does not allow you to clock down the cpu to be exceptable.... Also so I consider Ubuntu to use to many resources in the first place...

You would be better loading Slackware or Gentoo or Arch linux and running the process in that environment... Because Ubuntu loads in unnecessary programs that eat up cpu time... If you run top or free in terminal the next time you get a connection with your kvm you should notice unnecessary cpu usage. But Ubuntu loads in unnecessary apps at boot time that may be taking away cpu at fractions of seconds...


I know your answer would be to run kill, but for someone that may never have tried Slackware, Arch Linux or Gentoo... There is a big difference in load times with ubuntu and cpu process....

There are other issues with Laptop battery APCI, Mouse sending to many signals, and graphics issues...
