How to use silverlight in OpenSuse

I just switched to OpenSuse from Fedora because, it was suggested that it would be easier to use Silverlight. I am still having a problem with using microsoft's Silverlight. The only reason that I need Silverlight is for school. A lot of schools are moving to the Skydrive instead of using their HD, unfortunately in order to access the Skydrive at the school that I go to I need to be able to use Silverlight. (This is one of the reasons that I stopped using microsoft.) How do I get linux to use silverlight and why is it not available as an opensource?
Thank you

Novell (vendor of SuSE Linux Enterprise) has developed an open source version of Silverlight called Moonlight. You can easily find it from the OpenSuSE web site using the Package Search section. The official site of moonlight is http://www.go-mono.com/moonlight/. The easy way to install is from the Yast software manager or from the command line:
Code:
zypper in moonlight-plugin
