how to use seahorse

hi
Tried to use seahorse but I dont get a 'encrypt' in context menu when I rt.click a file. I followed instructions from some aticle, but I cant begin to encrypt a file. The original 'seahorse help' doesnt tell me how to encrypt. It tells me how to set it up but not how to actually encrypt. Nontheless I cant encrypt. There is something I am doing, or not doing that prevents me to encrypt. Im sure its simple....thanks
