Go the the nvidia UNIX+Linux drivers download page, download the one that suits your system, make it executable and run it with root priveleges.

According to his question the OP is new to Linux. Recommending to install a binary on that system circumventing the package management system is not a good idea, IMHO. It will bring the OP in serious trouble the next time his kernel is updated.

@UBUNTU2122: Open your system settings menu and start the Additional Drivers application. You can install the driver from there.
