how to use multipath on red hat 5?

Hi everybody.

I have to install an additional volume made by 2 hard drives with fiber channel.
The problem is that the Red Hat see 2 volumes (because there are 1 fiber per hard drive). I need Red Hat see just 1 volume (merge the two hard drives).

Thanks in advance.

Ok, do you really mean RH5 or do you mean RHEL5(Red Hat Enterprise Linux)? Support for RH9 was dropped in 2003 so I would guess support for RH5 was dropped in 2000(?). Virtually no one will be able to help you if you really mean RH5 as no one will still be running it. If you mean RHEL5 you will want to edit the title of your thread to reflect this becuase a lot of people will not even read the thread due to the RH5 title.

Red Hat is seeing what it should be seeing. You could have one or 246 wires,it would be the same.
