How to use BigBlueButton

Hello friends,

I am newbie and non-developer for the video conferencing tool - BigBlueButton. I have configured this tool over Ubuntu 14.04 and whenever access my IP in browser, I am able to see the demo page of it. Now I am not getting:-
1. What to do next, to be able to distinguish between Moderator and viewer.
2. And is this tool works in back-end instead of front-end, I mean is it mandatory to integrate it with another running website. Can't it be used directly entering a credential for it.

Regards,
Kamal

Hi Kamal,

It sounds like you are using the build-in demo page. There are other API demos that show how to login as different users (click the "API Examples" link on the home page).

2. And is this tool works in back-end instead of front-end, I mean is it mandatory to integrate it with another running website. Can't it be used directly entering a credential for it.

You need to use a front-end for accessing BigBlueButton. See BigBlueButton home page and click Support -> Open Source Integrations.

Regards,.. Fred
