how to use 3g phone as usb modem in asus eee pc 701 linux
hi guys! i just recently bought an asus eee pc 701 running on linux. i have never used linux before and i want to use my 3g phone (nokia n77) as a usb modem. I have found site giving the procedures on the same but i can't find the dial up settings to edit the same.
here's the site: http://www.myasuseee.com/3g-on-the-a...g-an-lg-ku250/ ( it has some good testimonials) can someone please teach me how to access the dial up settings on the desktop mode and how to edit it. I cannot really locate it, I am referring to step number 2 in the GUI mode. thanks! |
You just need to follow the instructions in the post you linked to.
For typing the commands, you need to open a terminal with <CTRL><ALT><t> if I remember right. Maybe it is just <CTRL><t> Then type the commands. More help for the eee can be found here http://forum.eeeuser.com/ and here: http://wiki.eeeuser.com/ |
