how to use 2 users on one desktop


Hey guys im new to linux so be nice :P

Just wondering of there is any way of having 2 users on that same machine

i.e. i have 2 monitors so i was wondering if i could have 2 desktops ...

im running redhat 9 so any information would be greatful

You are looking for the Backstreet Ruby patch to the kernel you can get some more information here.

Wouldn't this also require two keyboards, two mice, and the like?

yea but its on my laptop with usb mouse + keyboard
