How to uninstall programs?


I would like to uninstall Fluxbox so I don't have it cluttering my system, but don't know the commands =-/ SOmeone able to help me out?

depends how you installed it. if you went from rpm "rpm -e fluxbox" if it was from source you should still have the source files you compile, in which case go back to that directory and run "make uninstall" if you used slackaware packages, just use erm.. pkgtool? if you used source and it's not there well... either download the source again and hope for the best, or manually delete each file. fluxbox is a very small manager though, and can easily be left there.

pkgtool
command not found

How do I fix it, acid? pkginstall produced the same result.

To reach pkgtool with Slackware, I think you have to be logged in as root.

I was pulling his legs. Obviously, the little smiley didn't do its magic. I was on a friend's box and we were puzzled why it didn't load.
