At first, bumping a thread after only 50 minutes is considered rude and bad manners here. Please wait at least 24 hours, we volunteer to answer in our free time here, and no question is more important than another.

To safely "uninstall" BT5 boot from your Windows CD (your icon is stating that you use XP), start the recovery console and launch the command fixmbr
Then reboot and you can delete the BT partition.

Are you and were you using Backtrack Grub to boot? If so, you need to get windows in the mbr as suggested above. I expect the last time you formatted you did not do that and therefore Grub in the mbr was looking for files on a partition you had formatted and did not exist. You could have indicated you had windows in your first post and whether you have other operating systems on the computer. There is no way for us to know anything about your computer unless you tell us.

You need to know which partitions BT5 owns erase them & install new system to the free space
